Entry is open to registered GBBC Yachts and others who register their vessels and their insurance details with the Club. Entries may be accepted at the absolute discretion of the Sailing Committee.
Races will be open to two divisions (1 & 2) at the discretion of the Sailing Committee.
The acceptance of an entry from a yacht shall not create a precedent for the consideration of an entry by any other yacht.
The GBBC Office must be notified of any changes to the hull, ballast, keel, rudder, engine, propeller, spars or sail area at least 3 days before an event. If the Sailing Committee has not been given an opportunity to adjust a handicap, it may be adjusted at any time.
Failure to notify a change will result in disqualification.

Series Entry : Entries close before the first race of the Series

Helmsperson : Yachts must be steered at all times by a member of a Club affiliated with Yachting Tasmania or another MYA.

• I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2017 - 2020 (RRS) and the prescriptions of Australian Sailing, except as any of these are changed by the sailing instructions.
• I acknowledge that a Decision to Race, places the sole responsibility for a boat’s decision to participate in a race or to continue racing on her alone.
• I certify that my yacht complies with the Safety Requirements of YA Safety Regulations, Part 1, Category 7.
• Before racing, I will ensue that I have public liability and third party insurance with respect of the yacht of not less than $5,000.000.
