Geilston Bay Boat Club is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1964 (Tas), Registration number 00129C.
Our primary objects are:
- The promotion of improved facilities for boating persons.
- The encouragement of boating as a sport.
- The promotion of water safety and a knowledge of navigation and the International Rules for the Prevention of Collision at Sea.
- The encouragement of participation by people in the sport of boating.
- The development of an area at Geilston Bay with slipways, storage facilities, club rooms and other amenities.
- The encouragement of cruising by boat.
