The Geilston Bay Boat Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation, proudly incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1964 (Tas) (Registration No. 00129C).

At its heart, the club exists to bring people together through a shared love of boating and the water.

Our focus is on creating a welcoming and supportive environment where members can enjoy boating, develop their skills, and make the most of the River Derwent.

What We’re About

• Supporting the boating community by maintaining and improving practical facilities for members
• Encouraging boating as a sport and recreational activity for people of all ages and experience levels
• Promoting safe boating practices, including navigation skills and knowledge of maritime rules
• Creating opportunities for people to get involved and participate in boating activities
• Developing and maintaining club facilities at Geilston Bay, including slipways, storage areas and clubrooms
• Encouraging cruising and exploring Tasmania’s waterways

As a community club, everything we do is driven by the enthusiasm and support of our members. Together, we continue to build a place where boating, friendship and local community come together on the water.
